Dye my hair black?

im 15 and i have many grey hairs. i ask my mom if i could dye my hair black (natural color) but she wont let me cause she says that its bad and it might give me posioning/cancer.

is that true?

No, it isn't true. You might want to have it done professionally - they use milder chemicals that hold the color longer.

I have dyed my hair black two times and I dont have cancer. Tell her you are embarrassed by the grey hairs (I dont know if you are I am just guessing that you want to cover them...i do it every 6 weeks!) and there is no harm. Good luck and hope she lets you do it. Then again if your hair is naturally black do you really think she will notice?

Cool. I'm 15 too and in the same situation. Enjoying it though, since it gives me natural highlights.

Cancer because of dyeing depends on the dye you use. More chemicals, more unhealthy. However, if you dye use should use natural dyes such as Henna.
