No, it doesn't. I wish it would. I would be soooo happy if that were true. Everything seems to get darker when it is wet. When people get grey hair it usually turns one hair shaft at a time. When it gets wet the darker hair can cover the grey making it look like the hair has become darker. But when it dries, alas and alack, the gery shows.
Now if wet is coming from a bottle of Clairol Jet, why yes it would, but I am assuming you mean water.
